A birthday party...

Yesterday, i went to my classmate's birthday party. The party was brought forward due to the coming trial exam. It was F='kx' birthday and most of us went to the party with a present in our hands ready to give it to her except for me. I am such a selfish person..haha.. Not that i don't want to give her a present but i thought i am going to share a present with my friends. Too bad, nobody asked for the money so it turned out to be my good since i got to save my money...lol.. Anyway, i still have to wish her Happy Birthday without the present..hehe.. Back to the party, we had steamboat while fried rice as the side dish. I am supposedly to bring the rice but my mom just can't made it so.... We finished the meal and proceeded with the games. Two groups of different card games. I joined the 'casual' (no betting and losing money) card game. Once again i am hugging the money to myself..haha.. Since i am not the easy going type, so i still got mad when something gone wrong or i dislike it. Sorry for my anger but that was just my feeling. End the last round of games and it was time to cut the birthday cake for the birthday girl. We went back to the traditional way of celebrating. We sang the song before making the wish and cutting the cake. Same old type and nothing special... Skip those boring parts of taking group pictures (i HATE it!) and we ate the orange cake. Not really like the cake but still finished it up without wasting. Had some light chat and it was time to say goodbye. Thanks for the party though.
THANKS AND SORRY...

Waste of time...

Today, another boring day at school even though there was some classes conducted before the recess. The bad thing was after the recess, the remaining four periods were left empty without any teacher coming into the class. That didn't sound so bad either because we got to do our own work and gossip around. It was so relaxing and not bothering the coming exam at all. One of my friends even on some music from the phone he brought today. He was lucky no teacher passed by or came into the class, if not he will say 'bye-bye' to his phone...lol.. Again, we talked about movies and Olympic which were still a hot topic among us. Although the topics were quite outdated, we did enjoy some good laugh at the end of the school. Finished for today and tomorrow go to school with just one hope that is...PJ!! Friday, i am still considering whether want go to school or just skip school and play basketball with my friends. There is a very high possibility that i will skip the school again. No big deal.... I am sure i don't want to suffer in the school at that day by staying in the school hall for the entire day.
WASTED....

Ends...

All have come to an end. The holiday and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. After one week of holiday, it has come to an end miserably for me. Nothing achieved throughout the week except the undang test. So fast, it has finished and back to square one. However, for the Olympic Games, it will end with full of glory especially with so many world and games records were broke during the two weeks time. All their hard works paid off and they will go back with pride and despair for some.

I just finished watching USA basketball team fought their way against Spain to win their gold medal match. The game was very interesting and full of actions from both teams as they fought hard for the medal. The US's 'redeem team' or so called 'dream team' brought out their best players to claim back their victory after so many years. With so many big names from NBA like Kobe Bryant and Lebron James, USA have the bigger chance to win the match. Meanwhile, the Spaniards were not the loser though. The team lead by the Gasol brothers catching up from behind which brought the game so intense during the fourth quarter. The game ended with 118-107. Victory to the Americans and pat on the back for the Spaniards.

Pass...

Wohoo... I passed my undang test already!! Guess what.. i just started to read the text book one day before the test and i can't believed that i passed the test with just two mistakes! Both from the Section C which were all about Sistem KEJARA (merit-demerit). I finished the test about 15 minutes which contain 50 questions altogether excluding the vision and colour blind test. Luckily, the questions came out to be easier than i thought. Not many tricky questions but i still took my time to answer a few of them to avoid any mistake. The place was quite quiet but not with our laughter that could be heard clearly. So embarrassing... After i had taken my result and sat aside while waiting for my friends to come out of the 'battlefield', i found a cockroach crawling around the floor which made me eager to snap a picture of it... here it is...

After that vital test, we decided to have a little bit of celebration at Mid Valley. Not really a celebration though. Each of us just have around RM20 to spend and we were forced not to waste any of it or else we will have to work there to pay our debt. Even with this small amount, we were able to see a movie at student's price and have our lunch. Of course we still left some for the transportation to go back. We don't want to overnight there...lol.. I dare say that this was the cheapest outing i have ever had. I can't believe i can do so many things with just RM20. I think i must learn to practise to save even more next time.
I CAN DO IT!!!

Days gone by...

It has come to the half-way of holiday but i don't think i have done anything according to my plan or maybe not fully done. I did do my homework but this has cost me to lose my time to revise my studies and read my undang which i have left it for a long time since i listened the undang lecture a month ago. Anyway, i still pray hard to pass my undang test which i going to take it this Friday if there is no more changes. Actually, i haven't even read a page of the book and i am going to take the test this Friday...lol.. I will try my best to spend some time on the book tomorrow. I must make sure i do read the book before taking the test because i don't want to let my RM50 fly away just to resit the test. Such a waste...

Today, i just saw 'The Mummy' with my friends and the movie was quite satisfying for me though. I will give it a 4 star maybe. The computer effects were just not that good as compare to the other 5 star movies. They still can make it better but maybe the cost of production will be raised too. Seeing all these movies fill with computer effects make me wanna take up the computer design course or some courses related to it. I found myself really like designing using computer but i don't like designing without the computer. So weird... Maybe i am too IT generated...hehe.. Hmm... really hope i don't lose this interest so soon. A few more days left to finish up my works before school reopen. Say goodbye to holiday again....

Quest for a gold medal...

LEE CHONG WEI - I bet every single Malaysian should have known who he is after he had won numerous world championships and lately with his victory over South Korean, Lee Hyun-Il which allowed him to storm into the final of badminton in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. He had become the second silver medalist for our nation or maybe a long awaited gold medal in the Olympic games. The first silver medalist was from the badminton pair Yap Kim Hock and Cheah Soon Kit in the 1996 games. This also proves that Lee Chong Wei is the most successful Malaysian single in badminton. Tonight the whole nation will glue to the television set to witness his feat in claiming the first ever gold medal for our nation in the Olympic. Although he has a tough job here but he will definitely not raising the white flag instead, give all he has to be the gold medalist. I as a Malaysian will of course give my support to him and pray hard for his winning. Don't fear the enemy and be the true warrior to beat the opponent will most probably bear in his mind when he is in action later tonight. You will never know the result if you don't fight till the end. I think a gold medal will be the best gift to our 51st nation birthday gift. Go for it!!!
MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

51 Posts

Wow... finally i reached my fifty-first post ler!! I also can't imagine i have gone so far since my first post about four months ago. At first, i started my blog just for fun and a side tool to improve my English but i don't know that i have gone this far to post my fifty-first post. A discrete celebration for me..lol... I think blogging has become part of my life because i am so used to posting my views here and a way to express my life. It is a "Reflection Of My Life"! Although i am not a heavy-blogger, i will still blog no matter what happened unless the connection is down or my computer is out of function. To all the visitors, thank you for viewing my blog and i very appreciate all your comments given to me as an energy booster for me to continue on with my blog. Thanks very much!

Holiday is here again as expected and it will be a short one for me. One week holiday is not enough for me as i am going to finish it up by revising and getting ready for the coming Undang test and trial exam. Anyway, i will use it wisely and prevent any wastage. No more wasting time. Lastly, happy holiday to all of you and have fun beside struggling to revise. Make a productive week out of the holiday.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

To NS or not...

(Dup) As i got ready to read the message i received, my heart skipped a beat. I braved myself to open the message to discover the content which was still a mystery to me. I knew the message was the answer that i have been waiting for. It was the message i received from NS (maybe) or any other organisation. I requested for the answer and now i got the answer. Scanning through the words, my heart beat returned to normal state and i finally got the answer. The message wrote "Maaf, anda tidak dipilih untuk menyertai PLKN....". I was delighted! Not really... i confirmed it by checking my ic number stated there. It was my ic number and i don't need to attend the training! What a joy for me.. but that doesn't end here, most of my friends told me that it was just the selection for the first batch of series 6/2009. Oh my! This means i still have the chance to attend the training and the possibility is quite high!

Even though if i am selected to undergo the hectic training, i think i won't get so sad either. I will take it as a challenge and i must overcome it. Many people had commented on this programme, whether good or bad....I will not know the exact answer until i join this programme and experience it myself. Although i really wanted to find out the truth, i still not ready to face this challenge right now. The past trainees had said this programme is very fun and interesting especially you get to meet many new faces. But, there are still some said that it is very hectic and sad especially when you leave your home sweet home for the programme. I can't determine which one is the truth but one thing for sure is that there are death cases reported from the NS department. I am sure everyone of us know about it and the main causes of every deaths are still an unknown to us. I wonder is it the NS fault or the trainees themselves? Anyway, i just have to wait until the real result to come out to confirm whether i am going for it or not.

Boring stuff...

Err... i think this could be my shortest post in my blog so far... .. I am not sure is there any shorter post next time but i am sure this is the shortest post for this period.. Nowadays i have already run out of idea of what to write in my blog. Any idea?? Or any hot topic? I think the hottest topic that everybody are talking about is the Beijing Olympic. But i also don't know what to write about this topic as nothing much i can talk about this games. How good if Malaysia were as good as the other top countries like China or USA. At that time, i can brag about our achievements here and don't need to worry about what to write. Too bad, this objective can't be achieved now but maybe next time we could do it like the others did. Hope for that... Just some praises to China for presenting the opening ceremony of the games so majestically! The best opening ceremony i've ever seen. 5000 years of history were packed into a show of 4 hours length with some beautiful and magical touches by the Chinese famous movie director, Zhang Yi Mou. Nice choreography by him. SPECTACULAR show!!

Bill Gates' Comments...

Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3 : You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

p.s. : I copied it from my received e-mail. Even though i don't really understand all the rules, i still agree with some of them...

Career on Pharmacy...

This was the title of the talk i attended today which i considered as 50% interesting and 50% boring. Why i say so? Because i did have the thought of taking pharmacy course so i decided to go for this talk two months ago. But when i reached Pusat Sains Negara where the talk was held, i entered the Ibnu Sina auditorium hall where i found myself trapped with hundreds of student who filled up the entire hall including the stairway. Oh my God! The hall was so packed and why they decided to invite so many schools when the hall can't even fit us all. So inefficient! However, i started to feel so uncomfortable that i lost my mood to hear the talk attentively. I ended up talking with my friends and came out of the hall getting nothing except the basic information about Pharmacy. At least i learned something inside...... Finished the talk, we went for a light refreshment before we were allowed to take a stroll around the place. The place was very nice and better than i expected before this. The place greeted their visitors with a mini 'underwater aquarium' and followed up by our famous tropical rain forest (fake of course!). After that, we entered the science world where most of the science principles were proven with some mini experiments for us to get our hands-on. This was the fun part. We get to test it by our own and watched the results! At level 2, we were brought back to ancient time and later travelled to our future world. This place was quite boring for me because there were not many interesting stuff for us to enjoy. We went back down and played the 'mindball' which i already played it at Petrosains during the previous trip. Hang around and went outside where we have even more fun. We tried the 'echo-system', 'piano fountain', 'rock xylophone' and 'sound transmitter'. All were so fun yet enjoyable. Before we left, we went to the playground and had some fun over there with the giant top. We looked so kiddy playing those games... ...Went back to school and waited for bell to ring so we can go home take a good rest...and go for a brand new day...
HAVE FUN!!!

End year 'jamuan'...

Today, the Electronic Club members who have full or nearly full attendance for the whole year get to enjoy the end year 'jamuan' as a sign of appreciate for them. I am in of course!..lol.. We decided to have it at KFC with some cakes from Secret Recipe as our desert. There were about 10 of us excluding the teacher. Anyway, only one teacher came for it with her daughter who is also our former classmate, Jocelyn. After such a long time didn't see her, she looks different from last time. Back to the 'jamuan', we went to Secret Recipe to buy our slices of cake before heading to KFC which is just nearby there. We spent about 60 bucks there and it was quite costly but who cares about the price? I mean we don't need to spend a single cent too because we were using the Club's fund we collected from the previous trip to Planetarium and Petrosains. I am so sorry that we collected quite expensive from you all who had attended the trip but it was the 'Rose' teacher (you know who is it?) idea. It was not our fault. Hope you all knew it. At KFC, we spent about 100 bucks and to my surprise, we still left 10 bucks or more. Hmm.. we thought of using up all we have but we still left a few ringgit. What are we going to do with this money? We don't want to left it for our junior...haha... You all earn it next year lo...

After the meal, some of us went back while some went to Carrefour. We walked all the way there from KFC and have to endure the scorching sun. It was damn hot! Reached there, we left our bags in Khang Aik's shop before going to JPN at the fifth floor and waited CP to take his new IC. I don't even know there is a JPN office in Carrefour! I am so outdated...swt..There was quite little people so we just have to wait for awhile. After that, we wanted to play bowling but too sad to find out that too many people were playing inside, so we turned back and headed to KA's tea shop. We were consider lucky to have KA to serve us some of his well-known tea in his shop. Thanks to KA! The tea was quite nice even though i don't really know what is consider a good tea. However, i still appreciate your kindness and your hospitality given to us. Thanks once again! We even played 'Big 2' (dai dee) in his shop while tasting the nice aromatic tea provided by him. After a few rounds, we went back fetched by Chia Wen. Thanks to her also! What a day for me! That's all for now...keep blogging...
NICE TREAT...

There is no peace between the two colours...

What are the two colours i mention above? Hmm.. the two colours are BLUE and YELLOW.. Why am i saying that these two colours have no peace between them? If you ever wonder why, then i am going to tell you what is causing all these prejudices. Basically these two colours represent our school's prefect and cooperative prefect uniform colours respectively. Now, do you know that these two prefects are the worst enemy among themselves? There are always blames pointing toward each other and it can't be solved so easily. The Blue blame the Yellow and vice versa. Since i am the Yellow one, so i am going to support my colour of course! Me too hate the Blues but not all of them actually. Only those who like to cause troubles and put the blame on us.

After a few months living in harmony between these two colours, the misunderstanding rises again. This time, the Blues are complaining that we the Yellows are not dressing in the proper manner and arguing with the Blues. What the Hell!!?? They are pint-pointing us even though the Librarians and ICT prefects too did the same thing all this while. Even some of the Blues did the same thing and they are not taking any action against them but put all the blame on us! What is this!? The main factor that causes this problem might related to the new head prefect and her assistants but i don't really know what is happening. I just informed by our head, YPL about this and he told us that next Monday going to be a spot check specially for us. SPECIALLY for us!!?? At this point, i want to ask them why are they conducting such a thing but why the other prefects are out of your view? Are they got any special treatment or are we really hated by you all? Can you all give us an explanation? A good reasonable reason will do. If you can't give us a good explanation, that means you all are doing things according to your feelings and absolutely not professional at all! Don't forget that you all are also students and you all have no rights not to give us our certificates and more importantly our 'Sijil Berhenti Sekolah'. Don't give us stupid reasons and we demand an answer!
WE WANT AN ANSWER!!!!
